About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide advice to support a positive shopping experience. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver WOW! Customer Service, contributes to sales and store operations, and works with teammates in a knowledgeable retail environment. Responsibilities also include assisting with basic installations and diagnostics support.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Must be available for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Follow established processes and company safety policies, using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
