About The Position

Great Floors is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Retail Sales Associate to support our Coeur d’Alene in Idaho location. In this role, you will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth while upholding our company's high standards of service and quality. The primary responsibilities include listening to the customer to identify solutions for their flooring needs, consummating sales, and processing payments according to established credit policies. You will also be responsible for facilitating all communications, logistics, and transactional items for an order to ensure total customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will focus on growing retail business through relationship development and follow-up, prospecting for new business opportunities (referrals, Real Estate Agents, owner builders, remodelers, insurance and restoration leads, and past customers), and meeting or exceeding company sales goals. You will develop an understanding of the company, accounting and credit policies, and job management, and support and leverage the company's strengths in product offerings, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance for occasional local travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the flooring and/or construction industry is a plus but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to the customer, identify a solution for their flooring needs, consummate a sale and take payment for that sale per established credit policy.
