About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice while supporting sales, store operations, and a positive retail environment. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, contributes to store performance, and supports customers with automotive products and services.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Availability for a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions to customers while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock merchandise, keep the store organized, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
