About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and support sales and store operations. Associates provide product recommendations and automotive advice, maintain inventory and store organization, and contribute to a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. The role also includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. AutoZone provides tools and support for career growth in the automotive parts industry.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently, follow company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
