Retail Sales Associate - Lake Charles
About The Position
JOIN one of the fastest-growing telecommunications companies in the country! We are currently hiring Retail Sales Representatives who are energetic, driven, and eager to succeed. This role is ideal for someone with retail sales, wireless sales, mobile sales, cable, internet, or customer service experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. We are a rapidly expanding branded partner for Optimum Communications – a major U.S. telecommunications provider offering fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice services to customers across 21 states. You'll work in our retail stores, helping residential customers connect to the above essential services.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail, wireless, mobile, cable, or telecommunications or sales experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Engage customers and present telecommunications products and services proactively.
- Sell mobile, internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
- Identify customer needs and recommend the right products or service packages.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
- Explain products, services, pricing, and promotions clearly to customers.
- Provide a positive, professional, and solution-focused customer experience.
- Build customer relationships and create long-term brand loyalty.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive, performance-driven culture.
- Support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed and have reliable transportation.
- Work in person at the assigned retail store location.
