About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role involves advising customers, supporting sales and store performance, maintaining inventory and store operations, learning about products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates to support a positive, productive retail environment and follow company processes and safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support coworkers and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
