About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide WOW! Customer Service and help customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, maintain well-stocked and organized inventory, contribute to sales and store performance, and support smooth store operations. The role involves staying current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, knowledgeable retail environment and follow company processes and safety policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.

• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and comply with company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
