Retail Sales Associate, Quaker Bridge Mall - Part Time
About The Position
As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. Through customer engagement, product knowledge, and effective selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and encourage customer loyalty. The role includes helping maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment. Colleagues prepare the sales floor, review goals and product information, welcome and assist customers, recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, share loyalty program benefits, and collaborate with teammates to serve customers and achieve store results.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourcefulness, eagerness to start a new venture, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Review sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions to prepare for customer engagement and selling.
- Welcome customers and build relationships through friendly, personal conversations and attentive service.
- Understand customer needs and provide personalized product and service recommendations.
- Work toward daily sales goals through customer engagement and effective selling behaviors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves as needed.
- Share the benefits of the Loyalty program and provide a positive, complete checkout and customer experience.
- Collaborate with and support colleagues to serve customers and communities and achieve individual and store results.
