About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate provides automotive guidance, recommends products and promotions, contributes to sales goals, and helps create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role also involves restocking and organizing merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes, and complying with safety policies. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, offer trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
