About The Position

Sun Tan City is looking for a high-energy Retail Sales Associate to join their team. This part-time role involves providing excellent customer service, making product and service recommendations, and maintaining sales requirements in a fast-paced salon environment. The company is a large, family-owned tanning salon chain with approximately 250 salons across 20 states, part of the Glow Brands family. They focus on helping clients look good, feel good, and build confidence through friendly client relationships. Requirements

Basic Computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all your clients’ needs are met and are treated professionally.
Engage with all clients by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs.
Make recommendations for products and services.
Maintain minimum sales requirements.
Multi-task, such as cleaning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients upon their arrival.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness of salon tanning rooms, lobby area, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced salon environment while upholding all company policies and procedures.
