About The Position

AutoZone store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, provide automotive advice, maintain inventory, and support sales and day-to-day store operations. They contribute to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment and help customers with their automotive needs. Associates also use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions, and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Follow structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and comply with company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
