About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service, maintain stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and offer advice for automotive needs. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, supports sales and store operations, and contributes to a knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes assisting customers with automotive parts and solutions, recommending products and promotions, and helping maintain an organized, safe store.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, handle cash properly, follow loss prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Follow structured processes, company safety policies, and PPE requirements.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
