About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Team Member (Pawnbroker) for its Cash Pawn store in Temple, Texas. The role serves customers in a fast-paced retail environment, helping with sales and reaching mutually satisfying agreements involving pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. Team members provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful customer experience in person and by phone.

New hires begin as trainees in a five-week paid training program. Completing the program earns a $0.50-per-hour raise and promotion to Pawnbroker. Employees can pursue a Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1 per hour, and may progress to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader) or Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager path includes a six-month training program.

Pay is $14.00–$15.00 per hour based on experience, with monthly uncapped bonuses based on store and individual performance. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, and outgoing personality with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test after a conditional offer.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service in person and by phone.
