Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes serving customers at checkout, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and processing merchandise, maintaining sales-floor presentation and recovery, supporting store cleanliness and safety, and contributing to shrink-reduction efforts. The associate works collaboratively with peers and supervisors and supports a positive store culture built on honesty, integrity, and respect. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
