About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide advice that supports a positive shopping experience. The Retail Sales Associate contributes to sales and store operations while helping create a knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes engaging with customers, recommending products and services, maintaining merchandise, following store procedures and safety policies, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Follow structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and comply with company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
