About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, offer advice, support sales, and help maintain store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, recommends products and services, supports store performance, and helps maintain an organized and safe store environment. The role includes learning about automotive parts and promotions, using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes, and recommending solutions. The position is part-time and offers opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous automotive retail experience.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
