About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, contributes to sales goals, and helps create a positive and knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes advising customers on automotive products, supporting merchandise and cash-handling processes, assisting with select installations, and using diagnostic tools to help recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to maintain a motivated, productive store environment, and support team members.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, keep the store organized, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
