About The Position

Camping World is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and support store operations. The role involves building product knowledge, selling products and company programs, helping lead and mentor colleagues, and maintaining the store’s appearance. Associates may be cross-trained to perform other duties and may be assigned miscellaneous tasks. The position requires a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends, and involves periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending, as well as handling or moving merchandise.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to hold up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
• Ability to perform periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Lead the department and assist or mentor colleagues.
• Promote company programs, including warranty sales and Good Sam Memberships.
• Establish strong product knowledge and sell to customers.
• Maintain store appearance, including stocking and general housekeeping duties.
• Cross-train to perform other duties as needed.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
