About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for selling merchandise and attending to customers at The Miami HEAT Store in Pembroke Lakes Mall.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general educational degree (GED)
- Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Very organized and detail-oriented
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the entirety of the shift
- Ability to lift merchandise, merchandising equipment, and boxes up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
- Operating cash registers.
- Achieving individual sales goals.
- Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
- Increasing in-store sales.
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
- Adhere to all policies and security procedures.
