About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role contributes to sales and store performance while supporting smooth store operations and a positive retail environment.

Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, recommend products and promotions, maintain and restock inventory, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. They collaborate with teammates and managers, stay current on parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems, and follow company safety procedures, including using required personal protective equipment.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and have flexible availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Basic automotive parts knowledge, automotive retail experience, strong communication in English and Spanish, and ASE certification are preferred.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
