About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, contribute to sales and store operations, maintain inventory, and help create a positive retail environment. The role also includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommending solutions. It is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
