About The Position

As a Teammate – Apparel at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you help create an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience for athletes by offering strong customer service and merchandise expertise. You support athletes in finding apparel for performance and everyday life and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store environment. The role also involves helping the store team across departments and completing other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and provide helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs such as customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss-prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including Federal ATF requirements.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store using an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
