About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support store operations. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers, recommending products and services, contributing to sales goals, and maintaining a positive and knowledgeable retail environment. The role also supports merchandise stocking and organization, follows store processes and safety policies, and assists customers with select installations and vehicle diagnostics.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and help maintain smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
