About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find appropriate automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, maintain inventory, and contribute to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. They use AutoZone systems to stay informed about products and promotions and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The role requires availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes, follow company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
