About The Position

As part of Lakeshore’s retail team, the Retail Sales Associate helps create an unforgettable customer experience in a fast-paced, changing store environment. The role emphasizes prompt, courteous service and strong product knowledge, while also supporting sales, merchandising, inventory, store cleanliness, and day-to-day operations. Associates participate in training and staff meetings, support the development of new team members, and engage in personal development.

Requirements

Ability to work part-time on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Ability to climb a ladder.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.
Ability to stand for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail experience.
Knowledge of cash register/POS systems.
Experience with customer outreach and driving customer loyalty through brand awareness initiatives.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously.
Maintain product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Resolve customer issues or escalate them as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and common areas.
Replenish stock and manage inventory on the sales floor.
Support store and team sales targets and increase customer loyalty.
Assist with merchandising and store displays.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Participate in training programs and staff meetings.
Assist with peer training and support for new team members.
Seek feedback and actively engage in personal development.
