About The Position

Sierra at TJX Companies is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfactory customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained to support various store needs. The position models positive store culture, accurately handles transactions, promotes loyalty programs, and maintains merchandising standards. The role also involves processing and preparing merchandise, participating in store recovery, maintaining cleanliness and organization, providing feedback, adhering to labor laws, and supporting shrink reduction and safety goals. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customer.
Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
