Retail Sales Associate - Farm & Ranch (Trent Location)

North 40 Outfitters in Spokane, WA (Trent Location) is seeking a Full-Time Farm & Ranch Associate. As a Farm & Ranch Associate, the role is key to the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, generating sales, suggesting products, stocking and merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized department, and safeguarding company assets. This full-time position requires working all scheduled shifts within business hours: Monday-Saturday 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm, including weekends and certain holidays, with scheduling flexibility based on business needs.
Requirements

- Committed to supplying our North 40 guests with phenomenal customer service
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals on a regular basis
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining detailed and focused
- Must have the ability to become forklift certified
- Must be 18+ years old to attain forklift certification
- Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques
- Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25 lbs. continuously
- Physical ability to lift and carry 25-45 lbs. frequently
- Physical ability to lift and carry 45-65 lbs. occasionally
- Physical ability to team lift anything over 65 lbs.
- Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of fencing, livestock handling, stock tanks and tractor implements
- Previous merchandising experience
