Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer-centric, fashion/design-savvy retail environment with a passion for design and engaging with customers on the showroom floor.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Demonstrated confidence.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prioritization and organization skills.
  • High level of comfort navigating technology and virtual resources.
  • Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously during busy periods, ensuring each customer feels supported and valued.
  • Work independently within a small team and stay productive during slower showroom traffic through follow-ups, organization, and learning.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business (Room & Board for Business, Customer Care, and other showrooms) to support the online and in-store customer experience.
  • Guide customers toward the right solutions in a collaborative, non-commissioned sales environment throughout the design process.
  • Leverage technology such as iPads, floor-planning software, and POS systems, with the agility to quickly learn new tools.
  • Balance peak-time demands with focused, independent work during quieter periods.
  • Continuously build product knowledge, design expertise, and technical skills to enhance customer experience and team success.
