About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for sales and support positions at their Palo Alto store. This includes roles in Lingerie, Women's Apparel, Kids Apparel, Men's Shoes, Men's Apparel, and Beauty. The company is hosting a hiring event on Thursday, August 20th, from 11 am to 5 pm, where on-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. The interview process is expected to take approximately 1 hour.

Requirements

• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach.
• Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to reach for and lift bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items above the head.
• Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Bring a copy of your resume (not required).

Responsibilities

• Handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Reaching for and lifting bulky or awkwardly shaped items above the head.
• Selling apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty products, and men's fragrance.
