About The Position

Nordstrom is hosting a National Hiring Day event for sales and support positions at the Nordstrom Valley Fair location. This event will take place on Thursday, June 11th, from 11 am to 5 pm. Candidates can attend for an interview without prior scheduling. On-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. The available positions are in Retail Sales for Accessories, Women's Apparel, Men's Apparel, and Active Apparel, as well as Retail Stock positions.

Requirements

Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift.
Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Handle merchandise and assist customers.
