Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Victoria Gardens
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You help keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and keeping the sales floor customer-ready. You foster a warm environment for customers while supporting your team in achieving sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare for the day by greeting coworkers, ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers, and reviewing goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions. During the day, they welcome customers, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere thank-you. Colleagues collaborate with one another, strive to improve, take pride in their work, and work toward individual and store results. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, eager to start a new venture, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Be able to work independently and contribute to team dynamics.
- Be comfortable handling electronic devices.
- Meet physical requirements including talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, reaching, standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
