Part Time Retail Sales and Merchandising Rep
About The Position
Merchandising Consultants Associates (MCA) is a proudly Canadian owned and operated leader in retail merchandising and in-store execution. Our mission is to provide executional excellence and agile in-store support, so brands thrive where it matters most, on the shelf and in the hands of consumers. This is a part-time, hourly position with a wage of $18.00 per hour and approximately 5 hours per week. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Requirements
- Reliable and takes pride in their work
- Merchandising experience in a grocery, drug store or big box setting.
- Can read and execute planograms
- Possesses strong knowledge of smartphone technology, including downloading applications to their device, completing reporting in-store, taking photos and utilizing imaging apps
- Self-starter mindset, thriving under the pressure and ambiguity of the dynamic Merchandiser role.
- Shows enthusiasm and maintains a consistently professional attitude and appearance.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle is essential.
- Must reside in the specified location and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Setting up attractive product displays and arrange products following detailed planograms, ensuring product visibility and brand representation are optimized.
- Building, modifying, and dismantling product displays while strictly adhering to the client’s quality and branding standards.
- Ensuring that the clients' products are well-stocked, properly arranged, and ready for customer purchase.
- Installing eye-catching signage and performing additional merchandising services as required by the Company’s clients.
- Keeping all stakeholders informed by completing online reports, uploading photos, and providing regular updates.
- Forming and maintaining strong, influential relationships with clients, acting as a key representative for the Company and building trust to foster long-term partnerships.
- Utilizing advanced image recognition apps and scanning technology to collect valuable retail data.
