About The Position

The Retail Sales Agent ("Agente de Ventas") welcomes our guests with a warm and friendly smile. Proactively provides our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations.

Requirements

At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training. A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire.
Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.

Responsibilities

Carefully listens to the guest and provides assistance in fulfilling guest needs.
Answers the phone in a friendly and courteous manner and assists guests with their requests.
Is knowledgeable with respect to retail inventory and able to respond to questions and requests in an informed way.
Accurately records all transactions and performs end of shift procedures.
Ensures all retail products are well displayed for the guest.
Fosters a sales-focused mentality and strives to increase sales by assisting guests with impulse add-on purchases and by discussing the benefits and features of items for sales with customers.
Responsible for issued bank.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
