The Retail Relationship Banker delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their financial needs and providing advice on suitable solutions. This role involves working collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to achieve business objectives. Key responsibilities include proactively engaging with existing customers and prospects, conducting needs assessments for various financial solutions (e.g., everyday banking, retail investments, lending, home financing, small business solutions), and promoting digital and self-serve banking options. The banker also supports customer transactions, actively works to grow BMO's business through community engagement and relationship building, and ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and lending policies. They are responsible for making credit recommendations for personal lending transactions, acting as a key team member, and integrating marketing promotions into customer conversations. The position requires maintaining current knowledge of financial products, the wider financial services marketplace, and upholding ethical requirements, while also applying the Risk Management Framework. The role may involve working at multiple branches with a flexible work schedule.
