The role also involves performing preliminary testing data collection, calling for insurance preauthorization, following up on hold authorizations, cleaning and maintaining the reception area, offering current promotions and pricing guidelines, discussing discount club card benefits, and maintaining doctor referral logs. Compliance with HIPAA and data security guidelines is required.
