This role also involves medical coding, insurance research, and billing. Key responsibilities include answering phones, checking patients in and out, collecting payments, and performing other front desk tasks. The receptionist is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the reception area, offering current promotions and pricing guidelines to customers, discussing benefits and features of the discount club card, and maintaining outside and internal Doctor Referral logs for medical patients.
