About The Position
Dark Staffing Solutions is hiring a Retail Purchasing Manager for a fast-growing cannabis retailer focused on quality, education, and elevated customer experience. This role sits at the center of the business owning inventory, vendor relationships, and product strategy across retail locations. You’ll directly impact what hits the shelves, how it performs, and how the brand shows up in the market.
Requirements
- Experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain (cannabis strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs (turns, WOS, sell-through)
- Proven ability to manage vendors + product pipelines
- Analytical mindset with solid decision-making skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Execute purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Monitor inventory performance and adjust strategy in real time
- Manage financial impact of purchasing decisions (P&L awareness required)
- Oversee packaging and raw material inventory for in-house products
- Coordinate inbound product deliveries and logistics
- Review and approve vendor credits and payables
- Conduct store visits to assess inventory flow and operational alignment
- Support ongoing development of inventory systems and tools
