About The Position

Retail Production Associate is a customer service role responsible for providing excellent service while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment. As a Retail Production Associate, you will contribute to Goodwill's mission by supporting the success of the donated goods retail business, helping to create jobs and opportunities within the community, and promoting environmental sustainability through the reuse and recycling of donated goods. Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties within the framework of the Guiding Principles, procedures.
  • Follows the Customer Care Cycle (I Care) consistently, providing world class customer service to all customers, internal and external, of Goodwill.
  • Be actively involved in ensuring the health, well-being and safety of themselves and their team.
  • Conduct work activities safely and in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and Goodwill, Ontario Great Lakes Health and Safety policies, procedures, and program.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, organized, and safe facility, including but not limited to workstation(s) and the donation processing area.
  • Sort donated goods based on condition in accordance with procedures.
  • Price merchandise in accordance with procedures using the base price guide.
  • Sort and store priced donations into labelled pallet boxes according to procedures.
  • Identify high value donations based on condition, quality, antique and/or collectibles for up pricing or online sales.
  • Keep current on merchandise knowledge, industry trends and competitive pricing.
  • Perform other related activities as necessary or as assigned.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a requirement for this role.
