Requirements

  • You can handle writing an email, chatting with coworkers and outside representatives, or making phone calls with style (and mostly no awkwardness).
  • Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).
  • Happy to work independently, but knows that teamwork is the recipe for success.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and keep management in the loop, while rolling with the punches to keep projects on track and escalating any issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Dependable, reliable, flexible, quick – you’re like a Swiss army knife but with patience and a smile, always ready to adapt and roll with the punches.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a related environment preferred.
  • Must consent to and pass a background screening- because how else are we supposed to know if you’re actually three skunks in a trench coat or not?
  • You don’t need to be a tech guru, but you’ll need to be proficient in Excel, along with other Microsoft Office programs, and the operation of standard office equipment.
  • Must be comfortable working in an office environment surrounded by furry friends (that’s right, we’re dog friendly!).
  • Work is performed under normal office working conditions in a temperature-controlled environment, may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.

Responsibilities

  • Tweak cost and retail prices with the right UPCs as requested by the stores—no pricing drama, just smooth sailing and quick fixes.
  • Keep the price tags fresh for new and discontinued items alike, as well as communicate changes to the stores- nothing says "smooth operation" like no one getting surprised at checkout.
  • Master the art of specialized price books and keep those vendor updates flowing smoothly to the system, so stores can download without a hitch (and without you breaking a sweat).
  • Set up vendors in the manager’s Workstations, making sure they’re all set to accept invoices without any hiccups.
  • Team up with the Merchandising Director to plan, execute, and report on those big promotions that get everyone talking (and shopping!).
  • Import invoices into the store's Manager Workstation so they can accept their goodies and keep our inventory on point- no “where’d that go?” moments here!
  • Dive into the drama when invoices misbehave and costs don’t match.
