About The Position

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a part-time Retail Pharmacy Technician for the CompleteCare Vineland Pharmacy. This role is crucial in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care to communities in need. The technician will build relationships with patients and assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions. Cardinal Health Community Health Center programs focus on population health management and improving patient access and quality of care.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
Registration in the state in which the position is located (if applicable).
PTCB Certification or ability to get certified within 180 days of employment.
At least 2 years of retail pharmacy technician related experience.
Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is preferred.

Nice To Haves

340B experience preferred.
May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

Maintain professional working relationships with pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
Adapt to varied and changing pharmacy department demands.
Be available to customers/patients at all times.
Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment.
Organize medications for pharmacist dispensing by profiling prescriptions, preparing labels, and calculating quantities.
Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work with the pharmacy team to ensure best practices are followed regarding 340B.
