About The Position

At Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy, we pride ourselves on giving top-notch customer service through every interaction we have with our patients and other medical professionals. We are looking for someone who can work 40 hours per week, including at least one Saturday a month (two preferred) and one or two evenings per week, works hard as part of a team or by themselves, has great attention to detail, is friendly, can meet expectations for excellent customer service, and can adapt to changes in facility needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience within the last six years
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Can work 40 hours per week, including at least one Saturday a month (two preferred) and one or two evenings per week
• Works hard as part of a team or by themselves
• Great attention to detail
• Is friendly
• Can meet expectations for excellent customer service
• Can adapt to changes in facility needs

Nice To Haves

• Prior pharmacy experience is preferred
• Two or more years of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide EXCELLENT customer service to our patients
• Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
• Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Label and record dosage information
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Answer phone calls directed to the store
• Handle monetary transactions
• Assist customers in the store and over the phone
