Requirements

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required.
• Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
• Completion of Pharmacy Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Manage and replenish automated dispensing units.
• Maintain inventory control, including preparing supply orders for the department.
• Oversee the receiving and proper storage of all incoming supplies.
• Serve as the central communication hub.
• Triage incoming calls.
• Share essential information among the pharmacy team, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
