About The Position

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a part-time Retail Pharmacist to work at CompleteCare Community Pharmacy in Vineland, NJ. With over 45 years of experience, Cardinal Health provides access to best practice strategies and tactics to control costs, improve workflow, and enhance safety. This role is part of Cardinal Health's Community Health Center programs, designed for healthcare facilities to address population health management needs and improve patient access and quality of care. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities in need, including immunizations, patient consultation, and medication therapy management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
Immunization Certification or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

340B experience preferred.
May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

Dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all customers.
Maintaining open communication and being available to customers and practitioner sites for consultation.
Participating in the supervision of technical staff.
Ensuring pharmacy compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
Providing professional consultation to both patients and prescribers of partner health facilities.
Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, and verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
