The Clinic Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, and teaching, fills medication orders, monitors patient drug therapies, and provides drug information. The Pharmacist also supervises and directs supportive staff and may assume Pharmacy Manager duties in their absence. Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required
- Licensed to practice in Texas (or eligible to become licensed within 120 days)
- One year related experience
Nice To Haves
- One to three years retail experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching.
- Fills orders for medications.
- Monitors patient’s drug therapies.
- Provides drug information.
- Supervises and directs supportive staff.
- May be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Pharmacy Manager in their absence.
- Cooperates with the Medical Staff, Nursing Staff and patients in the provision of timely, cost-effective, and safe medication distribution.
