About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a licensed Retail Pharmacist to provide short-term coverage in a critical access hospital retail pharmacy setting in Cordova, Alaska. This role is ideal for a professional looking to provide essential pharmaceutical care while experiencing the unique lifestyle of a remote Alaskan community.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Active Alaska State Pharmacy License.
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug safety, and medication therapy management.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work independently in a small, remote healthcare facility.

- Experience in small, remote, or critical access healthcare settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the retail pharmacy window, ensuring accurate dispensing and patient counseling.
- Maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care within a small hospital environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Serve as a primary point of pharmaceutical expertise for the community during peak summer season.
