About The Position

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Retail Pharmacist (Float) to work in a company-owned retail contract pharmacy. This position is located at Alliance Medical Center (AMC) Pharmacy in Healdsburg but will float to Sonoma County area pharmacies. Our pharmacists play an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities that are most in need. This includes immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and potential management of high-risk patients. Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
Immunization Certification or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
May require vendor credentialing.

Nice To Haves

340B experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all customers.
Maintaining open communication and being available to customers and practitioner sites for consultation.
Participating in the supervision of technical staff.
Ensuring pharmacy compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
Providing professional consultation to both patients and prescribers of partner health facilities.
Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
