About The Position

Bank of New Hampshire is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable Retail Operations Representative to join their Retail Operations team. This role is crucial for supporting the bank's operational efficiency and ensuring accurate processing of customer transactions. The representative will handle various back-office deposit-related tasks, including processing stop payments, deposit returns, IRA/HSA servicing, account maintenance, research requests, and providing internal support to branches and departments.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ banking experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in reporting and data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional internal service and working collaboratively with colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Fiserv core systems is preferred.
  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor daily Retail operations functions including overdrafts, returned items, stop payments, and account adjustments.
  • Perform routine and complex account maintenance with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding deposit accounts, transactions, and systems.
  • Research and resolve issues related to customer accounts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and quality control reviews as needed.
  • Support the team and department with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
