RETAIL OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
About The Position
The Part Time Retail Operations Associate is responsible for receiving, unpacking and preparing merchandise for the selling floor. They are also responsible for the organization, maintenance and cleanliness of the stock room. This role involves inventory management, back-of-house organization, and shipment handling. The associate must also demonstrate cooperation and dependability, adhering to all duties assigned by management, maintaining punctuality, and working effectively with peers and management. They are expected to follow policies and procedures, participate in store meetings and inventories, and represent a positive attitude towards the merchandise and the company. Scheduled shifts may require standing for a minimum of eight hours.
Requirements
- MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE.
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Frequent standing.
- Frequent pulling, pushing, and lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Occasional bending, stooping.
Responsibilities
- Creates a positive first impression by adhering to the dress code
- Notifies management of any shipment discrepancies and missed markdowns in the stock room
- Sensors, steams, folds and hangs merchandise as needed
- Brings in and unpacks new goods to the selling floor
- Replenishes merchandise from the stock room to the selling floor
- Executes transfers, RTVs, damages and customer charge sends
- Lead efforts to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the back-of-house area and front-of-house.
- Implement strategic storage solutions to optimize space and facilitate easy access to merchandise.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies in the back-of-house environment.
- Manage incoming shipments, including verifying contents, documenting receipts, and processing merchandise for stocking.
- Coordinate outgoing shipments, pack items securely, and arrange for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor shipment schedules and communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with store managers at both sending and receiving locations to fulfill transfer requests promptly and efficiently.
- Satisfactorily completes all duties as assigned by management
- Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule
- Is flexible and works well with peers and management to accomplish duties

- Actively performs housekeeping and maintenance duties
- Participates in and attends all store meetings and other related functions
- Represents a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company
- Participates in all inventories
- Assumes and completes other duties as assigned by store management
- Scheduled shifts may require standing for a minimum of eight hours
- Other duties as assigned.
