About The Position
Lowney's Landscaping Center is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Nursery Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you'll help customers select beautiful plants, premium outdoor furniture, grills, and garden products while creating an exceptional shopping experience from start to finish. You'll play a key role in maintaining eye-catching displays, showcasing seasonal products, and helping transform our garden center into an inspiring destination for homeowners and gardening enthusiasts. Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience required.
- Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and provide outstanding service.
- Experience with merchandising, product placement, and visual displays.
- Knowledge of plants, gardening, outdoor furniture, grills, or outdoor living products is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using technology for sales and inventory systems.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with plant, outdoor furniture, grill, and garden product selections.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs and project goals.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist customers with special orders, product inquiries, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing retail displays throughout the nursery and garden center.
- Merchandise products and execute product placement plans to maximize sales and customer engagement.
- Restock merchandise, update pricing, and ensure products are properly labeled.
- Assist with inventory counts and communicate stock needs to management.
- Support seasonal merchandising changes and promotional displays.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
- Responsible for unloading plant material off trucks upon arrival and loading retail trucks and trailers.
