About The Position

The Retail Merchandising Field Specialist travels to assigned retail stores within a designated territory to audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products. The role involves independent assignments, in-store relationship building, timely reporting through a personal mobile device, and occasional collaboration with other team members on projects such as appliance or TV installations. The position is ongoing and part-time, requiring at least 20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours during busier periods.

The company provides paid training online, virtually, and in stores, along with a dedicated Field Manager, instructional videos through an app, and virtual call-center support. Specialists may receive materials at home or pick them up at FedEx before taking them to retail locations. Work is performed across retail locations within a market of up to a 60-mile radius, and may occasionally involve travel by flight or other transportation. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency using a personal Android or Apple smartphone or tablet with GPS functionality to upload photos, report assignment data, and reference documents.
• Must own a basic toolkit, including a multi-screwdriver, Torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, Allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle-nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, Easy-Off, putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and Goo Gone.
• Ability to complete required paid online training courses within the required timeline before working in-store.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours.
• Ability to drive on behalf of the company in compliance with company guidelines and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel within a designated market up to a 60-mile radius.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk and/or hear, and drive.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry more than 40 pounds.
• Ability to climb a ladder more than 10 feet tall.
• Ability to occasionally travel by flight or other modes of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned retail stores and conduct visits within the assigned territory.
• Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products, including TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones.
• Occasionally partner with team members on two- to three-person projects, such as appliance or TV installations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with in-store personnel and Channel Partners.
• Complete assignments as directed by the manager.
• Submit assignment reporting on time using a personal mobile device.
• Complete Channel Partner certification and training requirements to provide in-store support and service for Apple devices, if applicable.
• Schedule and complete work in accordance with CP Standards and Expectations provided during onboarding.
• Receive materials at home or pick them up at FedEx and transport them to retail locations as requested.
• Perform other tasks as requested by management.
